By creating an account, accessing, or using Sync Our Schedule, you agree to:

2. Description of Service

Sync Our Schedule provides:

• Calendar creation and management tools
• Event scheduling and organization
• Calendar subscription services via ICS feeds
• QR code generation for calendar sharing
• Organization and team collaboration features
• Analytics and subscriber tracking

3. Account Registration

Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan

• 1 calendar maximum
• 5 events maximum
• Basic features included

Grandfathered Plan

• Unlimited calendars and events
• Provided free to early adopters
• Non-transferable

Pro Plan ($10/month)

• Unlimited calendars
• Unlimited events
• Priority support
• All features included

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payment processed via Stripe
• Automatic renewal unless canceled
• No refunds for partial months
• You can cancel anytime from your billing page

Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for at least 90 days.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for illegal activities
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share content that violates intellectual property rights
• Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Use the service to distribute malware or phishing links
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create (calendars, events, descriptions). By using our service, you grant us:

• A license to host, store, and display your content
• Permission to make backups of your content
• Rights to publicly display content you mark as "public"

Our Intellectual Property

We own all rights to:

• The Sync Our Schedule platform and software
• Our trademarks, logos, and branding
• All service-related documentation and materials

7. Calendar Sharing and Public Content

When you make a calendar public or share a subscription link:

• Anyone with the link can subscribe to your calendar
• Event details will be visible to all subscribers
• We are not responsible for how others use your shared content
• You can make calendars private at any time

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the service will always be available
• That all features will work perfectly at all times

We may suspend or terminate service for:

• Scheduled maintenance (with notice when possible)
• Emergency repairs or security issues
• Violation of these terms

9. Data and Privacy

Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We encrypt data in transit and at rest
• We do not sell your personal information
• You can export or delete your data at any time
• We retain deleted account data for 30 days then permanently delete it

10. Termination

You May:

• Delete your account at any time from your dashboard
• Cancel your subscription without penalty

We May:

• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Remove content that violates our policies
• Terminate service with or without cause (with refund of unused time for paid plans)

Upon Termination:

• Your access to the service will end
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days
• Shared calendar links will stop working
• No refunds for partial months (except in cases of our termination)

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

We Disclaim All Warranties

• No warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service
• No warranty regarding accuracy or reliability of content

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss (maintain your own backups)
• We are not liable for third-party actions or content

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sync Our Schedule from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you upload or share

13. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with:

• Stripe (payment processing)
• Cloudflare (infrastructure)
• Calendar applications (via ICS standard)

We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms and policies.

14. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, United States.

Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Louisville, Kentucky, rather than in court, except:

• Small claims court matters
• Intellectual property disputes

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will:

• Notify you by email of significant changes
• Post updates with a new "Last Updated" date
• Give you 30 days notice for material changes

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sync Our Schedule.
